There should be no ads in a paid app. This app is missing a lot computer terminology and definitions.

For a paid app I would think it had no ads!!! Please remove them.
I got this based on a review. Its a great dictionary for quickly looking up computer terms.
This is a very impressive resource. Thanks for doing the app.
a friend at school told me about this app, along with a websters and spellcheck Im set
With thousands of terms you can find quickly and the lists are quick reference Im not sure why some would rate this one star, especially compared to the other $1 apps which are pretty sparse when it comes to tech words defined. The only criticism is Id like the fonts to be bigger. Maybe Wally will let me borrow his stronger glasses if I need to... lol.
I work in IT so I find this app helpful but most computer users or smart phone users wont need to know what a start bit or endian means, but if they come across tech words they dont know this dictionary will be useful.
for figuring out those chat and emoticons this is great for that plus a search for the technical words.
No matter you expertise this will be useful.
got my .99 worth and then some -- thanks
tried one other but this is better.
better than your average dictionary, unlike others I havent seen any ads yet, but for .99 who cares if it has ads
Im impressed. English is my second language so Im frequently in need of a good dictionary.
Id been using an online dictionary but they have tons of ads where the word Im looking up gets lost, this one is focused, just as thorough and runs fast. I have an iPad and the first page graphic looks great. Ive not seen an ad yet but one ad wont bother me. Id like to see an index if they do an update.
Crashes on start every single time I run it. Have restarted iPad, have synced with iTunes then restarted, have uninstalled Nd reinstalled app -- no dice. Dont buy this until the developer fixes it.
I had trouble with the previous version (2.01) when I upgraded my iPad to iOS 4.2 and emailed the developer who replied immediately saying that the update would fix the problem. I waited to review this app until it worked on my iPad. This updated version (2.02) works fine on my iPad and completes my arsenal of programs for this coming school term. My iPad rocks!
Got this for my iPhone and plan to get an iPad next year. This will be useful in school and I work part time for a local computer repair company. Lots of terms to search for and the lists are good for a quick look. Glad to read the developer keeps the dictionary updated.
There needs to be a faster way to scroll thru definitions. ABC INDEX MAYBE? just takes too long to get towards bottom. WAY WAY WAY TOOOOOOOO LONG. I can google the Abrev. Faster..... PLEASE FIX WITH UPDATE.
This is a great app! However some of the definitions are partially cut off or the last term in a long list you have to scroll all the way down to read. Other than that I may find this app useful for school and work!
This update seems to have fixed the issue of cutting off very long definitions and it seems faster maybe because of the iOS update. Ive noticed that they add new terms throughout the year. I bought another technical dictionary to compare but the other only had a few hundred terms and for me the free ones I tried were worthless. I also have a $5 dictionary with images but its slow and to me somewhat disorganized and I only use it when I need a graphic, which is not that often. Im majoring in IT and this has been very helpful for school this year. I sure could have used it in high school where we had outdated textbooks. You can drill-down search results or lists faster than scrolling and adding an index A B C etc would be unnecessary. If you are considering classes or a career in IT or telecom, here are lots of both computer and telecom terms in one dictionary.
